Terms and Conditions for "Intro to Exteriors, Vehicles, and Containers" Online Course- Basic and Premium Courses

Welcome to the “Intro to Exteriors, Vehicles, and Containers” online course provided by In Good Paws Dog Training LLC, a small, independently owned business. By enrolling in and accessing this course, you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions (which apply to both the Basic and Premium versions of the course). Please read them carefully.


1. Course Access and Enrollment

1.1. To access the “Intro to Exteriors, Vehicles, and Containers” course, you must complete the online enrollment process and submit payment. Upon successful enrollment, you will receive access to course materials. 1.2. The course is available to you for the duration of the course term, which ends one (1) year after purchase.

1.3. By accessing and using academy.ingoodpawsdt.com (the "Website"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Website.


2. Eligibility

2.1. By enrolling in this course, you confirm that you are the owner or primary caregiver of a dog, and that your dog is in good health and capable of participating in basic activities.

2.2. This course is intended for dogs that are at least 3 months old. If your dog has specific medical or behavioral concerns, we recommend consulting with a veterinarian or a certified dog trainer before participating.

2.3 By enrolling in this course, you acknowledge that this is a Level 2 course, with Level 1: Intro to K9 Nose Work® being a recommended pre-requisite prior to enrolling in this course.


3. Course Content and Use

3.1. The content of the course, including all videos, written materials, and other resources, is the intellectual property of In Good Paws Dog Training LLC and is protected by copyright law.

3.2. You are granted a limited, non-transferable license to access and use the course materials for personal, non-commercial use only.

3.3. You may not reproduce, distribute, or share the course content with others outside of your household or use it for any commercial purposes.


4. Payment, Refund, Cancellation Policy

4.1. The payment for the course is due in full at the time of enrollment. 4.2. No Refunds. All course fees are non-refundable. Once payment is made and access to the course materials is granted, no refunds will be issued under any circumstances. 4.3. In the event that the course is cancelled by In Good Paws Dog Training LLC for any reason prior to your course end date, you will be notified via email, and a pro-rated refund will be issued.

4.4. If you are unable to complete the course or experience technical difficulties, we recommend reaching out to your course instructor at [email protected] to see if we can assist you in resolving any issues.

5. Course Upgrade Policy

5.1. Upgrade Option. Clients who have purchased the Basic version of the Course may choose to upgrade to the Premium version at any time during their active access period by paying the applicable upgrade fee.

5.2. Access Period. Each Course purchase (Basic or Premium) includes one (1) year of access from the date of the original purchase of the Course. When a client upgrades from the Basic to the Premium version, no additional time is added to their access period. The upgrade grants access to the Premium features for the remaining duration of the client’s original one-year access period.

5.3. Non-Transferability. Course upgrades are non-transferable and apply only to the account and purchase under which the original Basic Course was obtained.

5.4. No Refunds or Extensions. Upgrade fees are non-refundable, and upgrading does not extend, renew, or restart the access period for the Course.


6. Account Responsibilities

6.1. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and account information.

6.2. You agree to notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorized access to your account.


7. Use of Video and Photography

7.1. If you are enrolled in the Premium version of the course that includes Office Hours, video review, and a private community, we may ask you to submit video or photographic evidence of your dog’s progress for feedback or community sharing.

7.2. By submitting such content, you grant In Good Paws Dog Training LLC the right to use, display, and share your submissions for educational purposes, promotional purposes, social media, or other marketing activities. You may revoke this right by contacting us in writing at any time at [email protected].


8. Course Limitations and Disclaimers

8.1. While we strive to provide high-quality instructional content, we make no guarantee that your dog will necessarily achieve a specific result or mastery of nose work techniques.

8.2. You acknowledge that any type of dog training involves certain risks and you agree to take full responsibility for your dog’s safety and well-being during participation.

8.3. In Good Paws Dog Training LLC does not assume liability for any injuries to you or your dog arising from course participation. Always supervise your dog and follow any safety instructions provided.


9. Privacy and Data Security

9.1. Your privacy is important to us. Please refer to our Privacy Policy, available here, for information on how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.

9.2. By enrolling in the course, you consent to our collection and use of your personal information as described in the Privacy Policy.


10. Changes to Terms and Conditions

10.1. In Good Paws Dog Training LLC reserves the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our Terms and Conditions purchase page for this course, and the revised terms will apply to all future enrollments. Your continued use of the Website following any changes indicates your acceptance of the new Terms.

10.2. You are encouraged to review these Terms and Conditions periodically to stay informed of any updates.


11. Governing Law

11.1. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Colorado, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

11.2. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms and Conditions shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Thornton, Colorado, USA, and you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of such courts. You waive any objections to the personal jurisdiction or venue of such courts.

11.3. Notwithstanding Section 11.2, you and the Company agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms and Conditions shall, at the discretion of the Company, be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA) for commercial disputes. The arbitration shall take place in Thornton, Colorado, USA, and the arbitration shall be conducted by a single arbitrator chosen in accordance with the AAA's rules. The decision of the arbitrator(s) shall be final and binding upon both parties, and judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.
